Some of the best memories I had during undergraduate were of meeting people from different backgrounds on campus, sharing our unique perspectives, and engaging in meaningful dialogue. Not only did many of them become close friends, but the conversations we had helped shape my values and thinking of the world. I believe it’s crucial that there are opportunities and spaces available for students of all walks of life to able to meet and exchange their ideas candidly. It’s for this reason that I became a Safra Fellow for intellectual vitality, ethics, and engagement at Harvard College.
