Sam Chen ‘28 is a first-year student at Harvard University, studying Applied Math and Psychology. On campus, he’s involved in the Asian American Dance Troupe, Harvard Undergraduate Foreign Policy, and the Asian American Christian Fellowship.

In high school, he was an avid debater, leading to his interest in conversations surrounding domestic and global affairs. Ultimately, he joined the Student Advisory Board because he champions the idea that everyone has an important story and that change requires us to have conversations that are uncomfortable. Through the SAB’s work, Sam hopes to make Harvard a beacon for impactful discourse.
