Maibritt Henkel ‘25 is a Social Studies and Economics concentrator living in Pforzheimer House. Having grown up in Denmark, Germany, and the United Kingdom, Maibritt’s commitment to civil discourse and productive disagreement is rooted in her experience with different cultural attitudes towards individualism, equality, and government. She is particularly interested in how moral codes shape economic systems and is the co-founder of Harvard Undergraduates Rethinking Economics, a student organization dedicated to addressing challenging normative questions in the field. Additionally, Maibritt is an involved leader in the First-Year International Program and views cross-cultural dialogue as essential to fostering intellectual vitality on Harvard campus.
