Anniyah Rizvi is a first-year in Thayer planning to concentrate in Government with a secondary in English. She is thrilled to join Natasha and Khaya on communications this year to elevate the mission of the IV SAB! Anniyah is drawn to the mission of intellectual vitality because she is passionate about intercultural peacebuilding, free speech, and healing political divides. She believes that open exchange is the cornerstone of higher education, which is why she is excited to collaborate with students and organizations across campus to help foster a culture of curiosity and intellectual humility at Harvard. During this charged moment, Anniyah feels that it is crucial to reaffirm our institutional commitment to rigorous debate, tempered by compassion and humanity.
Outside of the IV SAB (if anything truly lies beyond the sprawling realm of IV), Anniyah is involved in IOP programs, the PBHA’s Small Claims Advisory Service, and the Crimson. As a first-year, though, she reserves the right to alter her bio if and when her extracurricular interests evolve! In her free time, she can be found playing with words, daydreaming, or enjoying political satire.
