Andrew Levy
Canaday

Andrew Levy is a first-year in Canaday from Bedford, NY. He is planning to concentrate in Social Studies on a pre-med path, a career aspiration motivated in part by ongoing service as a firefighter and EMT in his hometown. On campus, Andrew is the Stop the Bleed Outreach Officer for CrimsonEMS and a news writer for The Crimson. He also participates in research. Currently, he is exploring a novel microfluidic technology to guide cancer patient immunotherapy treatment. He also assists a project to assess cardiovascular disease risk for first responders.

Andrew is passionate about the IVSAB’s goal to foster constructive civil discourse on campus as he believes this is the best way to foster impactful connections within a community. Andrew also values the idea that beliefs can change when confronted with new counterarguments. He is particularly interested in the overlap between such discourse and scientific disciplines, exploring the implications of new and existing technologies.
