Intellectual vitality is crucial to the College as it embodies the pursuit of engaging with the most complex and challenging questions we face today, a process that not only fosters personal growth but nurtures a community of inquisitive minds not afraid to disagree. My decision to become a FiVE was driven by this very principle—the desire to immerse myself in an environment where intellectual curiosity is celebrated, and where I can contribute to a culture that values critical thinking and civil discourse as the foundation for learning, self-discovery, and community-building.
