Adnan Bin Alamgir is a sophomore residing in Lowell House, from Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh. He is planning to concentrate in Physics and Math with a secondary in Economics, and potentially a language citation in Latin. He is interested and passionate about the intersection of academics and political discourse, and is excited to work with the broader Harvard community to foster an environment conducive to open civil discourse and an academic framework championing intellectual vitality.

The 2026-27 school year is Adnan's second year serving on the Student Advisory Board; in the previous school year, he served on the pedagogy working group, working closely with the members of the faculty and administrators to build a framework of intellectual vitality in Harvard's academics. He strongly believes in the necessity of the classroom to be the foundation front line for building student engagement and informed disagreement, with a shift towards interdisciplinary fields and courses for a proper realization of liberal arts education. As for his own case, you can hardly guess what he is studying from the courses he chooses in a semester.

At Harvard, Adnan is part of the Restorative Practice Fellows program, as well as a member of The Crimson's editorial board. He is involved with the Harvard-Radcliffe Dramatics Club as well as the Lowell House Society of Russian Bell Ringers.
